#087 Top of Longs - Looking South << Rocky Mountain National Park, CO >> Catching your breath as you reach the top of Longs Peak (14255 ft) you look back at people coming up behind you and out across Wild Basin into the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area to the South. Feels like the top of the world!! The climb is demanding, but the the sense of accomplishment and the view from the top is well worth the effort. [Longs is an arduous climb, not to be tackled unless you're in pretty good shape and at least somewhat acclimated to altitude.]
