#099 The Spearhead from Glacier Gorge << Rocky Mountain National Park >> The Spearhead is a familiar landmark along the Black Lake Trail once you leave Mills Lake and proceed upward. This photo as taken about half way from Mills to Black, at the point where the unmarked trail to Shelf Lake crosses the stream. Behind The Spearhead is Chiefs Head Peak which sits just east of the Continental Divide.
