#104 Rainbow Curve - Overlook << Rocky Mountain National Park >> Many Parks Curve is one of the most popular pullouts on Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous paved road in the country. (12,183 at highest point, over 4 miles above 12,000 ft)
From this vantage point, you can see the Alluvial Fan of rocks created by the Lawn Lake flood in 1982. Further down, the Fall River winds through Horseshoe park where Bighorn Sheep are often seen and Elk gather during the fall rut (mating season). Some of the lower sections of Trail Ridge Road are also visible.
