#138 Three Lakes Below Notchtop << Rocky Mountain National Park, CO >> While hiking in the back country, I often get this “I’ll bet there’s a great view from up there” feeling. I scrambled above Lake Helene toward Notchtop Mountain, and looked back on this wonderful view. Lake Helene is in the closest, Two Rivers Lake to the right, and Odessa Lake is further down to the left. You might also notice a whisp of smoke arising from the Sourdough backcountry campsight just above Two Rivers Lake.
