#150 Longs Peak from Rock Cut - Clouds << Rocky Mountain National Park, CO >> One of my best selling images (#75) was taken from this spot on Trail Ridge Road on June 1, 2000. The smaller sizes of the limited editon quickly sold out, so every time I came this way, I looked for late afternoon clouds above Longs Peak – the key to magnificant photographs from this location. Finally, eight years later (June 16, 2008), the clouds were again magnificent, and the sunset spectacular. I finally got a new photograph comparable to #75.
